Feedback form is now closed.
In this hands-on session, you will participate in ways to engage and excite your students about force and motion using discrepant events, also called phenomena. Discrepant events are a great way to create shared experiences for your students at the beginning of a unit. Each budget-friendly discrepant event will also explore an applied problem using the Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) model. The discrepant events presented in this session are designed primarily for elementary school science settings, but may be extended to middle school and high school as well.
